About this route
Canal towpath to Outwood Country Park, then into the woodland network on the Outwood Trail and Irwell Sculpture Trail — Giant's Seat Wood, Pale Walk, Little Hurst Wood, and Clifton Country Park before the 50-metre climb back up through Snape Hill Wood and Nursery Brow. A well-structured 7.7k that packs most of the local woodland into a single loop.
