Steel Cotton Rail trail - Stage 5 - Hathersage to Sheffield

Stage 5 of the Steel & Cotton Rail Trail and the biggest day in the social run calendar - 22k with 283 metres of elevation and a 203-metre climb through Padley Gorge between kilometres 3.5 and 8. Beyond the gorge the route descends through Ecclesall Woods, Millhouses Park, and Hutcliffe Wood into Sheffield along the Sheaf valley. A serious undertaking from start to finish.
