Burrs & Summerseat Loop

Starting from Burrs Country Park, the route climbs steadily north through Brandlesholme and Elton across the first 4k before reaching Summerseat village via Higher Summerseat and Railway Street. The return follows Wood Road Lane back through the rolling ground south of the Irwell Valley, with the finish dropping back into the park. A varied 9k with 115 metres of gain - good underfoot in places but expect some mixed surfaces throughout.
