A largely flat route along Church Street and Eton Hill Road before Spring Lane picks up the Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal towpath for the return. Just 31 metres of elevation across 5.4k and mostly well-surfaced paths throughout - a good option on darker evenings when reliable underfoot matters.
